The Strengthening Families program is targeted towards families with children age 6 through 11. Single-parent families, foster parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and parents seeking to reunite their families can also benefit.

The Strengthening Families Program is designed to: Decrease alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use, and discourage intentions to use. Decrease emotional, behavioral and social problems in school. Improve communication and academic skills. Improve parenting skills and the family environment Increase children's ability to cope. Provide information to parents about alternative ways to increase positive interactions with their children.
